Sunday Temple Day

We try to make it up to the temple with the kids at least once a month. We think it is important for them to feel the spirit that is on the grounds and to know why it is so important for Mommy and Daddy to go there on our dates.

They both get super excited when they learn we are going to the temple. Partly because they get to see (i.e. play in) the water fountains.

This time Gabs decided to bring along her own little baby.

Noah can never keep his shirt tucked in. It's a battle that I have just given up for lost.

These two were pretty wet when we got in the car to drive home. We also realized when we were about half way home that we had left Noah's monkey. When we went back as a couple for our date, they hadn't seen the monkey at all. Hopefully someone picked him up and gave it to a little one and made them happy. Luckily Noah wasn't so attached to it that he can't sleep without it.

I'll try to do a better job keeping this updated. With all the stuff we have going on now though I'm not making any promises.

Another Fun Day at the Zoo!

The zoo is one of our favorite places to go. Whenever the weather is nice, we pack up the stroller and other zoo things and head on out.

Because we have such fair skin, the kids are always decked out in sun hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Here Noah is ready for the zoo.

Daddy and Gabs getting some water from a lion.

We got to see the new baby giraffe.

Gabs and Noah got friendly with the rhinos. This is about as close as we ever get; they don't usually get close to where we could see them.

going for a ride...

Trying to see the chimps....

Look Dad, I see you!

Then we played the drums together...

Gabs and I pretended to be a family living in an adobe hut, eating dinner together.

Scary Daddy and Sis...

Noah stopped and stood on these blocks for quite a long time. He must have thought it was super cool because we couldn't get him to leave. So we just started taking pictures...

It was a great day at the zoo. These two are getting so big and crazy. Sometimes I wonder how we are going to handle the 'twos' with bubs. He is already a pro at fit throwing when he doesn't get his way.
