Christy's Graduation

So, Christy Graduated this morning, and we decided that we wanted to show you all what an amazing graduate she turned out to be. Here are some of the Pictures that we took:

Christy and the Fam.

It was really hard to get any good pictures cause of the light and how fast she walked across the stage. These were the best that we could get.

This is what I was doing when I wasn't taking pictures. (I got kinda bored.)

Christy's hat was a little too big.

Struggling...

Struggling...

She thought she looked super funny with it on.

It lasted for one good group picture...

Then it was gone

Christy's Bridal Pictures

With the reception looming large, my Mom surprised us by saying that she had talked to a friend of hers who is a wedding photographer and had arranged for us to have some more pictures taken. We thought that we would share some of our favorites with all of you!

Here they are:

New Additions

So, it's been a lot longer than we planned on since we last posted on here. I don't know why, life has just gotten busy.

A few weeks ago we were coming out of Wal-Mart, and out of the corner of Christy's eye, there was a little sign beckoning her name. The sign said, "puppies for sale." (just so you all know, Christy might tell this story a little different if she were telling it.)

As we got out of the car to take a look, there were five little puppies playing with each other that the owner said were for sale. There was one little chubby one curled up in the back of the owner's car hiding it's face in it's paws and we couldn't help but give it a home. This was the face that it gave us.

We then found out that the owner really just wanted to give the puppies a good home and that she only wanted $10, we couldn't say no. We were the proud owners of a new puppy.

Christy was so excited to have a new puppy. While she sat with him, I went back into Wal-Mart and bought him all of the necessaries: food, bowls, a chain, etc. We then brought him home and chained him up.

Here are some of our favorite pictures of him.

He really likes the neighbor kids. (This is Shaylee, our next door neighbor. Ask us about her sometime, we'll tell you some funny stories)

About a week after we got him, I got really excited and went out and bought wood to make him this dog "mansion" as Christy calls it. I think he likes it.

After we got the Dog we went with My parents up to Midway to watch conference. When we got there, we got to tell them all about our TWO big announcements. We had a new dog and

WE'RE HAVING A BABY.

We found out about a month ago that Christy is Pregnant. We estimate that she is about 5-6 weeks pregnant, meaning that she got pregnant around 2-3 weeks after our wedding. (if I'm doing the math right.)

Since we had decided that there was no reason to wait to get pregnant, being in the good fortune that we have been lately, we are both really excited about it. We'll keep you all posted on how things go.
